THE OLD ORCHARD BEACH BALLPARK
WANT TO BECOME PART OF THE OOB BALLPARK TEAM ?
The success of the ballpark is attributed largely to the dedicated volunteers that show up time after time to maintain the field, clean the stadium, man the concession stand and handle the countless other jobs that keep things running.
We are always looking for more volunteers. Whether you have a few hours or a few days, your help is always needed and appreciated.
It doesn't matter if you are just one person or part of a group that wants to offer their service - everyone makes a difference.
Donations to the volunteer effort can be mailed to:

The Ballpark in Old Orchard Beach has come alive and 2012 will bring many events and baseball to this treasured town asset. The volunteers who have worked so diligently to give the park a facelift and a new life are now relishing in the sights all of the families who enjoy the benefits of the 5500 seat stadium.
With the inaugural year of the Raging Tide under their belts, the Ballpark Commission worked to ensure that baseball would be played again here in Old Orchard Beach. Through the enlistment of a local Old Orchard Beach Collegiate Baseball Club to take the reins and management of the Tide, we will once again hear, “Play Ball.”
The Ballpark in 2012 will continue to evolve and the Ballpark Commission has some great ideas to bring new family events to this community space. The ideas range from small concerts, Irish Festivals and other events new to OOB that will surely make this park shine even brighter. These are just a few of the ideas that may make their way to the Ballpark.
Old Orchard Beach is lucky to have volunteers who choose to spend their free time refurbishing and working together to bring the once-famed Ballpark back to life.
